As a Challenge fundraiser, and while supplies last, we are selling previous years’ Challenge souvenirs!  Round out your Challenge memorabilia with any of the following souvenir sets.  Remember, these items also make great gifts and/or stocking stuffers for those lighthouse lovers on your Christmas list! The proceeds from the sale of these items go directly to funding future Challenge events.

2015 10th Anniversary Booklet and Stamps.  This black and white 10th Anniversary Challenge Booklet contains timelines for the 2015 Challenge Lighthouses and other pertinent information on Chesapeake Bay Lights and our beloved Chesapeake Chapter.  The accompanying full-color stamps (14 different photos) are designed to be affixed to the corresponding pages in the booklet.  The booklets are a beautiful souvenir, commemorating a decade of our Chapter shining the light on Maryland’s historic lights! –  $5.00 per set.

2013 Maryland Lighthouse Challenge +1 “Beacon Bucks” – A tribute to Chesapeake Bay Lighthouse Keepers! These are artful replicas of currency, each with a photo of a lighthouse keeper who served at that lighthouse or another notable lighthouse figure in history.  The set includes 15 different bucks, one for each of the lighthouses in the 2013 Maryland Lighthouse Challenge, including the +1 in the event – Jones Point Lighthouse in Virginia,  plus a special “The Beacon Buck Story”. – $5.00 per set.

2011 Maryland Lighthouse Challenge bookmarks.  Mark your page as any lighthouse lover should, with a specially designed lighthouse bookmark, 13 different designs with a full color photo of a Maryland Lighthouse Challenge light and shot of the cupola and/or Fresnel lens on the front, and lighthouse timeline on the back. – $5.00 per set.

2009 – 7th Maryland Lighthouse Challenge Trading Cards. Celebrating Maryland’s 375th Birthday and our Chapter’s 20th Year, this collectors’ set of baseball-style trading cards, displays lighthouse photos, timelines, and the reference to Maryland’s official State Symbols on each. To commemorate the occasion, in addition to the 12 lighthouse cards, there is a Chapter Anniversary, and Happy Birthday Maryland card to round out the set! The 14 cards come with a plastic snap case. – $5.00 per set.

2008 – 6th Maryland Lighthouse Challenge – On the “Road to the Lighthouse” IEnjoy our fun and timely 2008 election year theme, with realistic campaign-style button souvenirs for each of the 12 lighthouses along the 2008 Challenge route! 2007 – 5th Maryland Lighthouse Challenge. These 2” square magnets feature photos of the lighthouses from a whole new perspective – the water! There are 11 magnets in all and they come with a plastic storage sleeve for display purposes, although you just may want to show them off as intended, on your refrigerator! (To date, this remains the only set of souvenirs featuring photos of the lights shot entirely from the water!) – $5.00 per set

2005 – 3rd Maryland Lighthouse Challenge. There is no collectors’ item more iconic than the wooden coin. These 1 ½” coins feature the outline sketches of renowned coastal artist Donna Elias, who has been a supporter of the Maryland Lighthouse Challenge since its inception. The set of 10 coins, specially designed with a different ink color for each lighthouse, comes with a cloth drawstring bag. – $5.00 per set

2004 – 2nd Maryland Lighthouse Challenge. Take a step back in time with this vintage-style set of trading cards. Each baseball-style card displays a historic photo of the Challenge lighthouse on the front, and basic information & interesting factoid on the back. 2003 – 1st Maryland Lighthouse Challenge. Where it all began… The original Maryland Lighthouse Challenge souvenir! This inaugural year map and stamp set features the ten original lighthouses along the 2003 Maryland Lighthouse Challenge route. Challengers collected the map at their first stop, and received a 1.5 x 2” stamp to be affixed to the map at each stop along the Challenge route. The map and set of 10 stamps comes with a page protector for display purposes. – $5.00 per set.

Souvenir sets are retiring as they are sold out.
Please note:  In all fairness to individuals who have taken the Challenge in any given year, sets do not include the “finisher” souvenir.
