Chapter volunteers helped the Friends of Concord Point Lighthouse on a couple of projects in early April. The main project of the day was to install 97 engraved memorial bricks on their Legacy Pathway that goes from the lighthouse entrance to the War of 1812 cannon. Volunteers Hobie Statzer and Tony Pasek worked together and with FCPL Volunteers to remove the old bricks and install the new bricks that contain personalized messages. The Friends group has made a brick to honor John Donahoo who built the light as well as bricks to honor all the past Keepers of Concord Point.
Volunteers also re-enforced two deck posts on the back of the Keeper’s house with two galvanized “L” brackets.
