1871-1877: Augusta P. Elmore is named the Assistant Keeper at Bowlers Rock Lighthouse, VA. Her salary is $400/year. (Her husband William M. Elmore served as Principal Keeper)
1880: In the 1880 U.S. Census, Augusta is living wither her husband William in Richmond, VA.
1900: In the 1900 U.S. Census, Augusta lives with her daughter in Washington D.C.
1924: Augusta P. Elmore passed away on April 4th at the age of 78. She is buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Washington D.C.
