The Chapter awarded the 2018 HELP preservation grant of $1,000.00 to the Friends of Concord Point Lighthouse in Havre de Grace, MD on October 13, 2018. Chapter secretary, Hobie Statzer presented 2018 Chapter Grant check to members of the Friends of Concord Point Lighthouse – Jessica Lapota and Floyd Dobson. The grant funds will be used to help with the restoration of the Lighthouse Keeper’s House, specifically: repainting of the windows, re-glazing the window panes and repairs to the brick chimney.
If you are a lighthouse preservation group and have a project(s) you feel meets our criteria we invite you to apply for one of our Preservation/ Restoration Grants. To do so, we have included a form for you to complete. In addition to the specific questions, please provide any additional information that you feel will support your request for one of our grants.
