The Chapter awarded the 2014 HELP preservation grant of $1,000.00 to the Friends of Concord Point Lighthouse in Havre de Grace, MD on October 13, 2014. This non-profit group will use this grant along with $1,500 to be raised by the Friends for some needed restoration and improvements to both the 1827 lighthouse and the keeper’s dwelling nearby.

If you are a lighthouse preservation group and have a project(s) you feel meets our criteria we invite you to apply for one of our Preservation/ Restoration Grants. To do so, we have included a form for you to complete. In addition to the specific questions, please provide any additional information that you feel will support your request for one of our grants. All paperwork must be postmarked by January 10 of each year. The award will be announced no later than September 30 of the same year.
