Keepers Mascot: Lexie

Mascot #95, Lexie, is a delightful, brown pug according to member Maryann. When she was 6 years old, she was diagnosed with diabetes and lost her vision. Later in the year, she became a registered therapy dog with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Even though TOTALLY blind, she brings joy to children, senior citizens, and hospital patients at least twice a month with her therapy dog visits. She is a favorite in the annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade, where she rides in her stroller because her hips do not work very well anymore, either.
