Keepers Mascot: Missy

We spotlight mascot # 36 – Missy, a Chihuahua, is now about eight years old. Owner Helen reports: “I got her from a Chihuahua rescue group on March 19, 2010. The group guessed her age at two to four years at that time. She is extremely shy and afraid of people and water – not a good lighthouse dog. She and two puppies had been abandoned, but were rescued. The puppies found homes right away, but it took months to get Missy’s OK to find a home. I love her and she is a lovable companion for an 86 year old!”
