Apostle Islands Lighthouse Celebration

August 27 - September 14

The 18th annual Apostle Islands Lighthouse Celebration offers cruises that dock at Raspberry, Sand, Devils and Outer islands to explore the lighthouse grounds; there's a new shipwreck and lighthouses cruise, as well as the popular Ultimate Lighthouse Cruise, a non-stop voyage to see five of the eight lighthouses from the comfort of a cruise boat. Maine Open Lighthouse Day

This popular event, which is sponsored by the United States Coast Guard, the Maine Office of Tourism and the American Lighthouse Foundation, attracts between 15,000 to 18,000 visitors each year and offers the general public the rare opportunity to climb and learn about over two dozen historic Maine lights.

Fall Door County Lighthouse Festival

The Door County Maritime Museum sponsors this Festival. This year includes adventurous kayak excursions to view historic Door County lighthouses. The Festival weekend include land-based, boat, and adventure tours that together reach all eleven of the treasured lighthouses of Door County.
