We had to postpone the work at Cove Point from April to May due to the imminent arrival of a nor’easter. The wait was worth it. The weather was beautiful if somewhat hot.

We spent the day cutting up a fallen read cedar. There was some beautiful wood in the tree. Several volunteers worked on that.

We also raked the shells and sand out of the grass, cleaned windows, and removed some sand and shells from the basement. Some old carpet was removed from the duplex to reveal a very nice wood floor. We also had a very pleasant cookout. Volunteers were treated to a splendid view of the bay and watched as one of the huge ships left the LNG terminal after off-loading their cargo.
