On May 11, volunteers Tony Pasek and Hobie Statzer met with Floyd Dobson the president of Friends of Concord Point Lighthouse to work on the thirty foot granite tower. They had to replace a window and sash that was blown in by a storm last year.Hobie constructed the window at his work shop and after removing the old frame and deteriorating sill, they put it the new widow. They caulked around the new frame & sill, but held off on painting because of the weather. You’ll never guess – but it was raining by then. They also installed some more  bricks on the Concord Point circular walkway. They were thouroughly soaked by the time they were finished – but they had added 50 more memorial bricks to the walk by the end of the day. I’d call that a productive work day!
