U.S. Lighthouse Society Trip to CHESAPEAKE LIGHT TOWER! – May 4, 2014

U.S. Society trip to the Chesapeake Light, AKA Texas TowerDid you miss the Chapter’s trip to the remote Chesapeake Light (Texas tower) last year? Do you need this light or the Cape Charles Lighthouse to get closer or reach “40 +3”? Well, here’s another opportunity to see this reclusive beacon.Our parent organization has arranged for a trip with Rudee Inlet Charters of Virginia Beach out to the Chesapeake Tower lighthouse for their Outer Banks Tour group.  We will be going on Sunday, May 4.  The charter will leave at 9:00 a.m. and return at 2:00 p.m.  It will pass the two Cape Henry Lights and Cape Charles on the way. The Society has room for 25 more people and would like to open it up to the folks from the Chesapeake Chapter and anyone else in the area that wants to go.
