October 22 - 23, 2005 Workdays at Assateague Coast Guard Station
Chapter volunteers returned to Assateague Coast Guard Station to continue their preservation and restoration efforts. For those willing to trek across the sand dunes in 4 wheel drive vehicles, a night spent in the historic station was available.
Sound like fun? The Chapter's next workday at Assateague Coast Guard Station is scheduled for March 2006. To learn more about the Chapter's Volunteer Program, visit the Volunteer page on this site. If you would like to be more involved and have not yet done so, fill out the 2005 Volunteer Form.
If you are ever in doubt about a date for a Chapter event, check out the calendar on the web site.
