October 20, 2007 Workday at Assateague Coast Guard Station
Chapter volunteers returned to Assateague Coast Guard Station to continue their preservation and restoration efforts; for those willing to trek across the sand dunes in 4 wheel drive vehicles.
Sound like fun? The Chapter's next workday at Assateague Coast Guard Station is scheduled for October 2008. To learn more about the Chapter's Volunteer Program, visit the Volunteer page on this site.
If you are ever in doubt about a date for a Chapter event, check out the calendar on the web site.
