July 23, 2005 Workday at Ft Washington Light

Chapter volunteers returned to Ft Washington, under the watchful eyes of the Army National Guard, to renew their attack on wood rot and mold. The weather was great, the National Park provided a lift and the volunteers were able to get a portion of the much needed repairs done before calling it a day.

The volunteers drew attention from park visitors with all the activity.

Sound like fun? The Chapter's next workday at Ft Washington is scheduled for October 8, 2005. To learn more about the Chapter's Volunteer Program, visit the Volunteer page on this site.

If you are ever in doubt about a date for a Chapter event, check out the calendar on the web site.
