Keepers Mascot: Oscar

We spotlight mascot # 40 – Oscar a miniature long-haired dachshund. Owner Steve provides this bio: Oscar is a dapple-colored, miniature long-haired dachshund and is the dog of Maggie & Steve (40+3 patch holders from May 2013.) Our daughter, Lisa, picked him out at the pet store and we brought him home on November 1, 2008. Oscar was born August 14, 2008. Oscar loves everyone he meets, giving them lots of kisses, and loves to cuddle with people — a great lap dog. His favorite food is cheese — Lisa dropped some on the floor, which he ate, and when she put it away in the refrigerator, he licked the refrigerator door. He has loved cheese ever since. His favorite treat is his daily DentaStix. His favorite toy is a very small chewable bear. Oscar has seen some lighthouses, including Bethel Bridge, Bloody Point Bar, and Poole’s Island (from Tolchester Beach). For our anniversary last year, Oscar’s picture was turned into a Cat’s Meow replica, so he will always be with us.
