Two members from American Heritage Girls, Troop 0304, Dillsburg, PA have been awarded our Chapter’s Scout Patch by completing five activities from the program. “The girls created a poster entitled, “Crutial Role of Lighthouses”, using photographs of the history of light sources from oil lamps to GE Quartzline Precision bulbs used now. Pictures of lighthouses and text presented the value of lighthouses. The display was placed in a local library.” The girls and their leader, participated in the 2013 Maryland Lighthouse Challenge, visiting Concord Point, Cove Point, Drum Point, Piney Point, Point Lookout, and the Lightship Chesapeake.
American Heritage Girls is in all 50 states and 22 countries, with interest in scouting and developing women of integrity. PA 0304 troop is 100+ member strong.
